Magnetic Measuring InsutrumentMagnetic Characteristics Measurement System <BH Curve Tracer/Vibrating sample magnetometer>

Magnetization characteristic measurement system dedicated to magnet materials (hard materials).

Our magnetic Characteristics Measurement System is a fully automatic measurement device for measuring the magnetization characteristics of magnets. Our magnetic Characteristics Measurement System is a fully automatic measurement device for measuring the magnetization characteristics of magnets. Residual flux density, coercivity, maximum energy product, etc. can be measured. While direct current has been used, we have developed a pulsed magnetization type BH curve tracer in response to the need for enhanced performance from magnetic materials.

Main measurement items:Maximum energy product (BH MAX), residual flux density (Br), coercive force (HcB, HcJ), saturation magnetization (Js), maximum saturation flux density (Bs), others (Br/Bs, Hk, Hk/HcJ)

Compact, easy operation and high cost performance

Direct Current Type 6700BH

6700BH
  • Pole coil method has limited constraints on the shape of the object to be measured
  • Conventional jacket (search) coil type can be used
  • PC interface for filing measurement conditions and data
  • Measurement data can be converted to CSV for use in Excel and other application software.

Pulse magnetization method.
High coercivity magnets can be measured with high accuracy and in a short time.

Pulse type PBH-1000

PBH-1000
  • Capable of generating high magnetic fields
: up to 12 T (using special air-core coils) fully saturated with high magnetic fields
  • Magnetic field strength specifications can be selected to match the magnet being measured
: Ferrite magnets and rare earth sintered magnets are available.
  • High speed measurement: 1 measurement per minute
  • High performance: Repeatability ±1% or less
  • Can be designed and manufactured according to sample dimensions
    : Standard sample dimensions φ10 L=7
  • Basic operation is as easy as 6700BH
  • Variable temperature measurement model added to lineup
: temperature can be set up to 200°C

*PBH-1000 is manufactured in accordance with EMAS-7007 "Permanent Magnetic Field Measurement Method Using Pulse Magnetic Field" prepared by the Magnet Technology Committee of the Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association.

PBH-1000

Automatic measurement of magnetization characteristics of high coercivity magnets using superconducting coils

Superconducting coil type SBH-1000

Superconducting coil type SBH-1000
Superconducting coil type SBH-1000

  • Capable of measuring a large-size magnet φ30
  • Excitation field: 6 (T) max.
  • Temperature test : 200 (°C) max.
Advantages over other methods

1. Electromagnetic saturation
Since abnormal attenuation may occur above about 1.2[T] (957.2[kA/m]) due to the magnetic saturation of the iron used in electromagnets, it is not suitable for the measurement of high-coercivity magnets such as NdFeB sintered.

2. Pulse Magnetic Field - Magnetic aftereffect
In the method using pulse magnetic field, a discontinuity appears in the B-H demagnetization curve for permanent magnets with a large magnetic aftereffect. This phenomenon is remarkable for NdFeB with HcJ less than 400 kA/m and SmCo-based sintered permanent magnet.

3. Large magnet - Eddy currents
In the method using pulse magnetic field, eddy currents are generated in magnets with high conductivity such as NdFeB magnets. Therefore, due to the skin effect, the magnetic flux is concentrated on the surface and does not penetrate into the interior of the magnets. Therefore, it is difficult to accurately measure large, highly conductive magnets.

Vibration Magnetometer VSM-1000

VSM-1000
  • Vibration of the sample at a constant amplitude and frequency enables small-sample, high-sensitivity measurements.
  • No error due to integral drift and high accuracy measurement
  • Simple sample setting system with rods that can be pulled out of the electromagnet
  • Same condition setting skip function for high volume and lot measurement is supported. Automatically saves not only individual measurement data, but also characteristic value comparisons, waveform comparison images, etc.
